The upside of unstable

Today has gone so much better than yesterday. Work is taking a slight turn in a positive direction. I had a meeting with a dude who gave me some really great feedback and then I booked my very first customer appointment. Yeah! It's a lady who wants to do solid oak floors and a soapstone counter top on her kitchen island. Fancy right? I don't know where the hell I'm going to find soapstone. I haven't even heard of that shit since I worked at Expo Design Center (back when those even existed). But I'm stoked and up for the challenge!

Then we got the mail and Three great things were in it. First was my shower bag that I left at my grandma's when I was visiting. I ALWAYS leave something at her house that she ends up having to mail back to me. Second was a letter from the dealership where I bought my car saying that I might qualify (given that my mileage and wear aren't too bad) to trade up to a 2011 Fit and not increase my payment. That's kind of cool. Third was this ad that came for my husband...

I'm being offered a trade up again!

After the sun went down I went for a 5 mile run. I tried the nuun tablets for the first time on this run. It was a short run so I don't think I can really say whether or not they helped. They tasted just fine. I can that much. I think the thing that helped the most was waiting for the sun to set. It was nice to not feel like a frying egg throughout my run. It also helped that I was already in good mood before I started.

Shit talley: 1
